1. Who we are
AE Outdoor Living ("AE Outdoor Living", "we", "us", or "our") is an Arizona-licensed outdoor living contractor (ROC 340966 / 341002 / 347738 / 211530) headquartered in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This Privacy Policy applies to aeoutdoorliving.com, aedesigntool.com, and AE Outdoor Living's AI-powered design studio (the "Service"). It explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit our sites or use the Service.
Contact: support@aeoutdoorliving.com · (623) 300-2589
2. Information we collect
- Contact information you submit (name, phone, email, ZIP).
- Photos of your yard you upload, and the AI-generated renders we create from them.
- Project details (project type, materials, refinements) you select in the studio.
- Technical data such as IP address, user-agent, device type, and timestamps.
- Usage data such as pages visited, buttons clicked, and time on page.
3. How we use your information
- To generate AI renders and deliver the Service to you.
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a free design consultation.
- To contact you by phone, SMS, or email about your project — only if you have given express consent on the lead form (see Section 5).
- To improve the Service, prevent abuse, and ensure security.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, licensing, ROC, court orders).
4. Photos & AI renders
Uploaded photos and AI renders are used to generate your concept and help AE review your project if you choose to submit a request. They are not a final construction plan, quote, or permit document.
Yard photos you upload and the AI-generated concept renders we create from them are stored in a private cloud bucket accessible only to AE Outdoor Living staff and the AI service that produces the render. We use third-party AI image generation services, including Google Gemini, to create concept renders from submitted yard photos. Submitted photos may be transmitted to and processed by these third-party AI providers solely for the purpose of generating your concept image. We do not sell your photos. We may use anonymized, non-identifying portions of renders (with addresses, license plates, and people removed) in our portfolio.
Want your uploaded photo or AI render deleted? Email support@aeoutdoorliving.com at any time. We'll confirm and delete promptly.
Please avoid uploading photos with people, minors, license plates, or visible street addresses.
5. SMS & call consent (TCPA)
By checking the consent box on the lead form and submitting your phone number, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from AE Outdoor Living at the number provided, including via automated technology (auto-dialer / auto-reply), about your project and our services. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also email support@aeoutdoorliving.com to be removed.
6. Sharing & lead intake via Jobber
We share information only with:
- Jobber (Getjobber.com) — our customer-management system. Requests submitted through any "Book", "Request", or "Send to AE" CTA on this site are delivered to Jobber, which acts as our processor for storing your request, sending you a confirmation, and handling project follow-up. See Jobber's privacy policy.
- Service providers under contract (hosting, AI generation, analytics).
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, insurers) under confidentiality.
- Government authorities when legally required.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
7. Cookies, analytics & advertising
We use first-party storage for essential site function (e.g., remembering your session). When configured, we also use the following third-party tools to measure site performance and advertising, and only after you accept cookies via our consent banner:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — measures pageviews, button clicks, and engagement events such as scroll depth, AI renders generated, and Jobber CTA clicks. Does not receive your name, email, or photo.
- Google Ads / Google Tag — measures the performance of Google search and display ads, including remarketing and Consent Mode v2 conversion modeling. We do not pass your contact details to Google through this site; conversions are attributed via Jobber-side reporting.
- Meta Pixel — measures Facebook and Instagram ads. Standard "PageView" only; we do not fire a "Lead" event for website clicks because Jobber submissions are the source of truth for leads.
Click IDs (gclid, fbclid) and UTM parameters are passed on the Jobber request URL so AE can attribute a submitted request back to its source.
7a. Your choices
You can decline cookies via the banner on first visit, or clear your browser storage to reset your choice. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sale/sharing under the CCPA/CPRA. You can also opt out of personalized ads with these provider tools:
8. Your privacy rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, and limit processing of your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. We honor verifiable consumer requests regardless of where you live, and we will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any privacy right.
8a. California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents may request: (i) the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the prior 12 months; (ii) the categories of sources, business purposes, and third parties with whom we share it; (iii) deletion of personal information; (iv) correction of inaccurate personal information; and (v) to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Categories of personal information collected (CCPA §1798.140): identifiers (name, email, phone, IP), internet activity (pageviews, clicks, scroll), geolocation (approximate, from IP), visual information (yard photos you choose to upload), commercial information (project type and budget range you provide), and inferences drawn from that data for service improvement. We collect this from you directly and from cookies and analytics tags described in Section 7. We disclose it to Jobber (our processor), to hosting and analytics providers, and to advertising platforms via Consent Mode v2 once you accept cookies.
Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (as defined by CPRA) for any purpose that would trigger a consumer right to limit its use.
"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" / Your Privacy Choices. When analytics or ad tags are enabled, the transfer of online identifiers to those vendors may qualify as "sharing" under the CPRA. Use at any time to opt out, decline, or change your cookie choice. We also honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out.
Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf by emailing support@aeoutdoorliving.com with written authorization and proof of identity.
Financial incentives. We do not offer financial incentives or price differences in exchange for personal information.

We do not engage in such profiling. To exercise any state right, email support@aeoutdoorliving.com. We respond within 45 days and may extend once by 45 days when reasonably necessary. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the attorney general of your state.
